Welcome to our winter 2022 healthcare newsletter. A lot has happened since our last newsletter – in the political arena and also within Mazars.
In this edition we have included recordings from our recent legal and accounting webinars which were run jointly with professionals from Mills & Reeve, as well as our latest Xero refresher class held earlier this week.
A topic which is not being discussed enough right now is the proposal for reform of the basis period assessment of tax – this will have significant implications for many self-employed taxpayers, including GPs, and is definitely one to read and seek advice where appropriate.
Finally, we round off this newsletter looking at some of the difficulties of pay inflation.
