13/10/2022. Throughout November, we have hosted a series of webinars focusing on primary care networks & incorporation, general practice updates and mergers.
During the series, our own Andrew Pow, Director of Healthcare at Mazars was joined by Mills & Reeve's primary care specialist Rob Day in looking at the key topics on everyone’s mind, the sessions include;
Session one: PCN and PCN Incorporation
Summary: an update on the development of PCNs, the opportunities and challenges they create and the drive towards incorporation and the creation of companies to address current challenges and capitalise on potential future opportunities that are expected at the neighbourhood level of integrated care systems.
Session two: Practice Mergers
Summary: a look at the golden rules when it comes to a successful merger from a legal, accounting and tax perspective. Whether it concerns queries over the handling of your core NHS contract, staff, premises or otherwise, this seminar will equip delegates with an understanding of the core considerations and options available when it comes to practice mergers.
Session three: General legal, accounting and tax update
Summary: a review of the common issues we encounter, including a discussion on removing a GP partner from the partnership, forthcoming pension changes and contract updates.
