Jessica Howard Director - Accounting Technical Services

Jessica provides accounting and corporate reporting technical advice to clients reporting under both UK GAAP, including FRS 102 and FRS 101, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). She also provides technical advice on compliance with company legislation and narrative reporting requirements.

Experience 

Jessica has gained 16 years specialist experience from providing accounting and corporate reporting technical advice to our clients, ranging across a broad number of sectors, including Consumer, Retail, Technology, Infrastructure & Energy, Manufacturing and Transport.

She is a director within the Accounting Technical Services team and she regularly deals with technical issues directly with her clients, ranging from FTSE-listed groups to privately-owned companies. Jessica’s vast experience means she has the skills to provide practically-driven advice and support to deal with technical accounting issues. She is able to provide clear, concise and tailored guidance to support with the complexities of implementing and understanding the accounting requirements.

Jessica leads the development of the technical communications and publications meaning that a large part of her responsibility is horizon scanning and keeping clients up-to-date with upcoming developments.

She specialises in the FRS 102 following her appointment with the Financial Reporting Council to assist with the development of new standards and has expanded her practical experience from industry secondments.
