Appointment in the spotlight

Mazars are delighted to have been appointed auditors to Bridgepoint Group, the FTSE 250 private equity investor.

Welcome to new partners and specialists

Mazars have recently appointed a number of new partners as we continue to strengthen our services and support to PIE clients.

Nargis Yunis joins our Financial Services team from EY, with remit to lead the development of Mazars’ strategy for Asset Management Assurance. Bill Schiller, previously of KPMG, joins our audit and assurance team with a focus on the insurance sector. Karen Classen brings audit expertise with large and listed businesses, notably in the consumer sector, from Deloitte South Africa.

We’ve also grown our advisory teams. Sandy Cowan joins our Forensic and Investigation Services team from Grant Thornton and Graham Bearman joins as Head of Real Estate Valuations from Cluttons. The Tax team welcomes Lucy Redding who joins our Corporate Tax team from PwC and Neil Rolfe who joins our insurance tax team from ReAssure Group.

Promotions from within the firm also signal our commitment. Congratulations to Pauline Pelissier (financial services), Gavin Barclay and Jon Barnard.

Global expansion in Taiwan

Mazars has expanded its service offering in Taiwan, adding audit, tax and advisory and outsourcing services to our existing financial services consulting capabilities. This recent evolution is another step in our ongoing growth and expansion across the Asia-Pacific region. Mazars is present in 17 countries and territories in Asia-Pacific and draws on the expertise of over 6,000 professionals in 57 offices.
