Mazars appoints two new Partners

Mazars, the international accounting and advisory firm, has appointed two new partners. Rene Koellen, a Monitoring Trustees Partner, has been promoted from Director, while David Allen, a Financial Services Audit Partner, joins from KPMG.

René Koellen – Monitoring Trustees, Large & Listed

René joined Mazars Group in 2003 and has worked for Mazars in Germany and the UK and gained project experience among others in Spain, Mexico, Chile and Ecuador. He specialises in Monitoring Trustee Services in merger control cases on behalf of the European Commission and other regulators around the world, especially in Latin America. Rene focuses on economic analyses and is native German speaker and fluent in English and Spanish.

David Allen – Financial Services Audit

David joins Mazars from KPMG, and will be responsible for leading the firm’s financial services audit proposition and growing the specialist team in the North of England. Based in Leeds, David has spent nearly 20 years providing audit and advisory services to a wide range of financial services firms including retail and corporate banks, building societies, wealth and asset management firms, broker and intermediary businesses and leasing / asset backed lenders.
