Mazars appoints Kyle Ashford to the London Restructuring Services Team

19 October 2021
Mazars, the international tax, audit, and advisory firm, has appointed Kyle Ashford as Manager in its Restructuring Services Team. Kyle will be based in London.

Kyle brings with him nearly 13 years of formal restructuring and insolvency experience. He is both CPI and JIEB qualified, and holds a non-appointment taking license with the Insolvency Practitioners Association.

Kyle started his career with a top 10 UK accountancy firm, where he gained experience in all areas of formal insolvency before helping set up and establish a boutique firm, where his role focused on investigative and contentious liquidations, as well as Fixed Charge and Law of Property Act Receiverships for a major equity funder.  Subsequently, Kyle joined another top-10 accountancy practice where he worked on some high-profile administrations and complex investigative cases.

Prior to joining Mazars, Kyle relocated to the British Virgin Islands to work for an offshore contentious insolvency and fiduciary specialist firm, where he gained invaluable experience of cross-border disputes, multi-jurisdictional asset-tracing, complex litigation, and the solvent liquidation of intricate group structures.

We are really excited that Kyle chose Mazars for the next step in his career. He already has a wealth of experience in all areas of insolvency and his expertise in cross-border disputes will help us to continue to develop our international restructuring and asset-tracing offering. Attracting talent of this calibre is a testament to the current team and it is fundamental to our ambitious growth plans over the next 4 years. I look forward to working with Kyle as he moves towards obtaining his insolvency licence in the near future
