Rob Moore Associate Director - Delegated Authority Review

Rob leads the Delegated Authority Review offering for the firm. He works with a combination of Lloyd's and Company Managing Agents undertaking reviews of delegated underwriting and claims reviews. He also supports other teams as a subject matter specialist, most recently with our Internal Audit, Forensics and Consultancy teams.

Experience 

Rob has been with Mazars since 2005 and through the years moved through several of our specialist teams gaining experience of Financial Accounts and External Audits, S-Ox reviews under US and Japanese rules, Specialist IT Controls reviews and Internal Controls Reviews across various industries before settling in the Insurance Industry. Having completed reviews and delivered annual plans for general insurers as part of their internal audit function under both co-sourced and out-sourced arrangements, including attending audit committees, he moved into the Delegated Authority Review team in 2014.

His work in the Delegated Authority Review team has seen him complete reviews that have varied from the delivery of a full Coverholder reviews to specifically focussed reviews of claims, conduct risk, IT, DCA Lawyer or run-off.

He has worked on UK and International reviews, including the US. His reviews have covered various lines of business for both the Lloyd's and Company markets.

Work Highlights 

Rob's professional highlight and triumph relates to his involvement in the establishment, and subsequent evolution and management, of the Delegated Authority Review team.

Rob undertook and delivered all reviews completed by the firm. Over the intervening years, he has been responsible for the training and technical output of both the UK and International teams.

He has developed our standardised worldwide approach and been part of an Industry project task force to develop a market wide scope and guidance document for Lloyd's reviews. After the departure of the lead Director from the team Rob has taken ownership of delegated authority related services to our clients and our continued success in the market.
