Lucy Rothwell Director - Crisis & Disputes

Lucy is a Director in our Forensics & Valuations services team in Manchester. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over twelve years of professional experience in undertaking forensic accountancy and external audit assignments.

Experience 

Lucy is an experienced forensic accountant who has worked in the context of a wide range of dispute resolution and investigation cases. Her dispute resolution experience includes financial reporting disputes, professional negligence claims, shareholder disputes, contractual disputes, post-acquisition disputes and loss of profits assessments. Her investigations experience includes instructions relating to allegations of fraud, accounting irregularities and forensic audits.

She has worked in the context of instructions in the High Court, the Royal Court of Guernsey, the United States District Court, the Irish High Court, the Criminal Courts (in the UK, Ireland and Egypt) and in the context of Expert Determinations.

Lucy regularly supports expert witnesses through the drafting of expert witness reports, liaising with instructing solicitors, attending meetings of experts and assisting expert witnesses in their preparation to give evidence. She has acted as the team lead working alongside the Expert in numerous complex matters.
