Phil Verity elected as Senior Partner

25 January 2021
Phil Verity has been re-elected as Senior Partner of Mazars, the international tax, audit and advisory firm, and will commence a four-year term in February 2021.

Elected by the firm’s 130 UK partners, this is the third consecutive term Phil will serve as Senior Partner. Phil has also been re-elected to the Mazars Group Executive Board (GEB), which is responsible for global oversight and management.

Having qualified with Mazars, Phil represents the firm’s commitment to home grown talent: a legacy which has continued to the present day and is reflected in its most recent Partner promotions. Since Phil was first appointed as Senior Partner, the firm has doubled in size, achieved prominence as a challenger firm, built foundations as a sustainable and diverse organisation, and reinforced its positioning as part of a global rebrand.

Phil Verity, Mazars Senior Partner, said: “Leading the firm as Senior Partner is a real privilege and hugely rewarding. Mazars is making strong inroads into each of our strategic markets, powered by a talented team of people. Across all levels of the firm, this is the strongest team I have worked with and, in the midst of a pandemic, we have demonstrated resilience and flexibility, while supporting our clients and team throughout a challenging time.

“We look forward to the next four years with excitement and optimism: we have clear strategic ambitions in our markets, a strong and distinctive brand, and a talented team with the vision and expertise to achieve our goal of being the right fit for our people and our clients. We will continue to develop as a modern, progressive firm which values and offers different perspectives to a range of clients”.
