Susanne leads the Asset Management and Banking pillar in the Accounting Technical Services Team at Mazars UK.

Experience

Susanne joined the Mazars Accounting Technical Services Team from the Financial Reporting Council, where she led the work on IFRS 17 endorsement for more than two years. She has over 20 years of experience in corporate reporting having worked in audit, consulting, financial services and standard-setting. She has specialist financial instruments accounting and IFRS 17 knowledge. Susan has participated in insurance accounting related working groups at national and international level to influence the IASB and other standard setters.

Susanne is a qualified ACA and is experienced in the application of both UK GAAP and IFRS. She also supports Mazars’ narrative reporting function, with a particular focus on ESG reporting developments.

Susanne is passionate about the ESG agenda and is a member of Mazars’ Green Champions network.
