Sam Farmer ESG Risk Specialist – Public & Social Sector

Sam is an Assistant Manager within our specialist Sustainability Services team. Sam joined Mazars is 2019 and spent three years working in public and social sector internal audit before pursuing a career in sustainability.

He advises clients on measuring their carbon footprints and how they can implement transition plans to reach Net Zero. Sam also advises on how to implement ESG strategically within organisations, helps provide assurance on ESG-related metrics, and helps the team deliver consultancy on responsible supply chain management.

Sam has a background in marine biology, which is where his passion for ESG and sustainability began. Since joining Mazars he has become a Chartered Accountant and is IEMA certified in carbon management.
