Mike Field Director - Restructuring Services
Mike is a restructuring specialist, a certified chartered accountant (FCCA) and a licensed insolvency practitioner (MIPA, FABRP). Mike is authorised by the Insolvency Practitioners Association and has over 30 years of experience in restructuring and insolvency, having held senior roles at PwC and Deloitte in London, the South Coast and the Midlands prior to joining Mazars on the South Coast.
Mike specialises in advisory, distressed business sales, trading administrations, company voluntary arrangements, voluntary liquidations and corporate simplification.
Whilst Mike has dealt with businesses in most sectors over this three decades in business recovery, he has particular sector expertise in
the following areas:-
Property, retail, manufacturing, telecoms, technology, care homes, marine, transport, engineering, solicitors and construction-related trades.
Mike has also spent time on secondment at the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) reviewing the solvency of financial advisors and pension schemes.
Mike’s experience enables him to review and evaluate clients’ requirements, identify appropriate solutions and implement them in an effective and efficient manner. Mike regularly advises a wide variety of stakeholders including professional advisors, directors, business owners, financial institutions, secured and unsecured creditors.
