Margaret Laidlaw Head of Privately Owned Business

Margaret is Head of Privately Owned Business in the UK and has spent the last 20 years advising entrepreneurial and SME businesses on everything from strategic growth to the importance of digitisation, exit planning and preparations for sale.
Margaret also works with and supports those across the UK on issues including ownership structure, succession, family governance and financial planning helping them achieve success, both in business and for their family.
In addition to her UK role, she sits on the international Privately Owned Business Board, a role which provides great insight into privately-owned businesses globally.
Margaret is a Chartered Accountant, as well as a STEP-qualified family business advisor and is a passionate supporter of teams and diversity across the firm.
