Kevin Guy Director - Valuations

Kevin leads our financial reporting Valuations services in the UK. He is responsible for the delivery of purchase price allocations, share-based payment valuations and impairment reviews for a wide range of clients. In addition, Kevin provides support to our audit teams in his areas of expertise.

Experience 

Kevin has 17 years of valuations experience. In that time, he has worked across a wide range of industries and sectors (including Financial Services, construction, software, and manufacturing). Kevin continually seeks to refine and enhance the firm's valuation approaches to ensure our valuations remain at the forefront of emerging market practice.

Before focussing full-time on valuations, Kevin worked in the accounting technical team providing advice on the interpretation and application of financial reporting standards (in particular IFRS and FRS 102) to large and international clients. This experience means Kevin has a unique understanding of the wider context of valuations in financial statements.

Kevin also provides support to colleagues internationally, both in sharing knowledge and experience and working directly with the firm's offices globally.

Work Highlights 

Kevin has led the creation and development of the financial reporting valuation practice at Mazars. Starting with a team of two, today we can call on a team of over 20 specialists in this area. We now work with large and complicated clients across the globe, both listed and private equity backed, dealing with transactions running into multi-billions in value.
