Emma Jardine Director - Financial Services Consulting

Emma is a director in the financial services consulting team with 15 years’ experience within the insurance market. Her focus is primarily on claims and regulatory compliance within the insurance industry.

She has advised clients on a wide range of claims related matters including claims control reviews, technical claims adjusting and claims reserving reviews on a wide range of claims from personal lines to long tail liability claims. She has supported numerous APH litigation assignments involving the claims reserving and statistical assessment of claims, which included review of historical claims processes, coverage and reserving philosophy and includes the allocation of long tail claims.

Emma has extensive experience advising insurance institutions on regulatory and compliance matters against FCA requirements and industry best practice.  Emma advises firms on compliance risk related issues, including advice on the practical implications of regulation for their business practices. Work in this area covers a diverse range of topics including assessment of the adequacy and effectiveness of a firms systems and controls; senior management responsibility; governance arrangements; treatment of customers; complaint handling and other conduct of business issues.

She has extensive experience leading large and complex projects in the UK and the US. She regularly works with multi-disciplinary teams with actuarial experts and accounting professionals and is experienced in bringing these experts together to deliver complex projects for clients.

Emma is ACII qualified and has a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Northumbria University, Newcastle. Emma is Prince II qualified.
