Since joining, Diana has specifically focussed on consumer/retail clients, ensuring our clients receive the best advice, across tax services. As part of this, she conducts ‘VAT health checks’, and often liaises with HMRC with regard to VAT return verification concerns.

Experience

Diana is a Senior Manager within the Indirect Tax Team, who initially started her career in VAT with HMRC in 2004, before moving into practice in 2014.

Diana’s main indirect tax area is VAT, and she provides advisory services to domestic and global organisation such as those within the consumer, renewable energy and real estate sectors.

Given Diana’s background, she often liaises with HMRC on behalf of clients, regularly successfully arguing against potential loss of revenue (“PLR”) penalties, resolving HMRC reviews/verifications and has agreed with HMRC partial exemption special methods and non-business apportionment methods.
