Mazars’ Financial Reporting Forum – September 2019

Join Mazars’ Financial Reporting Forum on Thursday 12 September 2019, a series of technical workshops and discussion forum on topical accounting matters designed for large and listed organisations.

New legislation on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting by companies is likely to impact the look and feel of annual reports. Both the range of companies required to report and the subject matter are growing, and areas once voluntary are becoming mandatory and may well fall within the remit of the finance function.

Join us for a close look at front-end reporting. We will discuss both mandatory requirements of The Companies (Miscellaneous Reporting) Regulations 2018 and the rapidly growing field of social and human rights reporting.  We will also look at how to integrate disclosures into the story of your company’s financial performance, purpose and business model, such that the needs of all stakeholders - such as regulators, investors and customers - are met.

Who should join?

Chief Financial Officers and Financial Controllers, along with the Project Leader and/or members of the Finance Team, of large and listed companies. In addition, this event is also suitable for those responsible for sustainability and/or ESG reporting within their organisation. Ideally, up to two participants from each organisation should attend although individual representatives are very welcome.

About the workshops

These workshops work best when members participate in discussions and share information with their peers to enable reciprocal sharing of knowledge. All participants are therefore encouraged to consider any particular questions and challenges that they have faced which may be used for discussion by the group.
