New Covid-19 border measures

From Monday 15th February 2021 the following quarantine requirements will apply to all travellers to the UK travelling from a “red list” country.

Hotel quarantine

Travellers entering the UK from any of the 33 ‘red list” countries will need to quarantine in a hotel room for 10 days, costing up to £1750 per traveller.  Booking will go live on Thursday 11th February 2021.

Pre- departure testing has been required since 18th January 2021, but from Monday 15th February 2021 all international arrivals will need to take further tests on day 2 and 8 of their quarantine period, and these tests must be pre-booked online prior to travel to the UK.

Before being permitted to travel passenger carriers will be required to ensure that the traveller has adhered to the rules and has pre booked their hotel quarantine accommodation and day 2 and 8 tests.
