We are delighted to announce that our Deal advisory teams have successfully advised the shareholders on the sale of Poppy & Jack’s Limited (Poppy & Jack’s) to Kids Planet Day Nurseries Limited (Kids Planet).
About the transaction
Poppy & Jack's is one of the North West and Midland's leading nursery & pre-school group. The business was successfully supported by Foresight NF GP Limited (“Foresight”) following their investment in 2016. With Foresight’s support, Poppy & Jack's has grown via acquisition to 10 nurseries across the North West and the Midlands, with an enviable reputation for the high quality of childcare.
The transaction (terms not disclosed) will see the exit of Foresight and the 2016 MBO team and allow the business to continue its impressive growth under Kids Planet ownership.
Kids Planet, supported by the Business Growth Fund (BGF), will continue to drive the business forward and underpin its growing reputation as one of the leading childcare providers in the UK.
