Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation (CVL)

This option is common in circumstances where there is a high level of financial distress.

The company is either unable to pay its debts when they fall due, or its liabilities exceed its assets. As liquidators, we close the business, drawing a line under the situation. Most directors are not subsequently prohibited from acting as directors of another company.

As liquidators we have a duty to realise assets for the maximum value for the benefit of the company’s creditors.
