2019 International Women's Day

21 March 2019

To celebrate this year’s International Women’s Day, we are hosting a panel discussion focussing on how transparency and accountability can help achieve more diverse organisations and growth.

Based around the theme of #BalanceforBetter, we are delighted to have an exceptional group of speakers, all of whom will bring their unique and varied perspectives on this topic.

With our own Tim Davies, Partner for Clients and Markets, hosting the evening, our panel of experts will comprise of:

Claire has held a number of senior roles including EMEA Chief Operating Officer of Natixis CIB and Chief Operating Officer Europe and Middle East for FIMAT and Newedge. Throughout her various roles she has initiated and implemented strategic and organisational changes to create focus and alignment and lay the foundations for future growth.

Claire Ighodaro, CBE, NED AXA and Flood Re
Claire is a past President of CIMA (the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants). She is the first woman to lead this organisation, regulating and examining over 160,000 accountants and trainees in the UK and worldwide. Her board roles have included non-executive director of Lloyd’s of London, the Banking Code Standards Board and UK Trade & Investment; trustee of the British Council; and council member of the Open University.

James Gilbey, Partner Forensics and Investigations, Mazars

James will be speaking on how he is tackling this challenge head on in his own team here in Mazars, and the challenges he has had to overcome in doing so.

Marianne Sanden, Senior Partner Mazars, Sweden
Bringing an international viewpoint, our Senior Partner, based in Sweden, has long battled being the minority voice around the table having started in Audit back in 1984. Her advice to businesses come from a unique perspective given the different culture and social diversity that has long since existed in the Scandinavian market.

This event will be of particular interest to C-Suite and key senior decision makers. We will be serving drinks and canapes, and as spaces are limited and in great demand, we urge you to confirm your place early.
