Prepare your business for EU exit

From 1 January 2021 the way we do business in the UK will change, regardless of whether a trade agreement is reached. Businesses should prepare now to avoid interruption to operations and understand the opportunities presented.

On Monday 30 November, we held a webinar focused on the practical steps businesses should be taking to prepare for EU Exit. Our panel of expert speakers across the firm discussed what to consider both now and in the future for:

  • Moving goods - the VAT and duties on importing and exporting goods (including EORI numbers), stock planning, supplier engagement and communications networks
  • Managing people - new immigration rules and compliance risks, double social security changes, health insurance, social security benefit and pension gaps
  • Managing data - GDPR considerations post EU Exit.

Please see the recording below and a summary of their top tips available to download here.
