Mazars wins ‘Collaboration of the Year’ award in Sense awards

20 September 2018
Mazars is proud to announce we won ‘Collaboration of the Year’ in Sense annual awards in recognition of our Sense1000 cycle relay which took us across the country last year.

From 11 to 22 September 2017, nearly 200 team members rode the length and breadth of the country. The relay raised over £100,000 for Sense, a leading national charity that support people who are deafblind, have sensory impairments or complex needs to enjoy more independent lives.

On Thursday 20 September, Harriet Walker, member of our Mazars in Society Committee, received the ‘Collaboration of the Year’ award during Sense annual awards ceremony, hosted by BBC presenter Nikki Fox.

Commenting on the win, Harriet said: “Through our Mazars National Challenge, staff up and down the country are enjoying not only raising vital funds for Sense through their individual office challenges, but also revelling in the opportunities to learn more about how Sense impacts the lives of its service users. In addition to this, we are pleased to be sharing our knowledge and expertise with the Sense team as they continue to develop the organisation.”

Sense Chief Executive, Richard Kramer, added, “The staff at Mazars have shown a great commitment and a real desire to be involved and understand how Sense enables people with complex disabilities to achieve their goals. The Sense Awards exist to celebrate the achievements of a company like Mazars.
