Who is it for?

The Internal and External Audit Services framework can be accessed by a range of NHS bodies primarily in the North of England.

How does it work?

Mazars has been named on Lot 1 (External Audit Services) and Lot 2 (Internal Audit Services and Counter Fraud) which runs until 6 June 2022. This framework agreement has been developed to bring both Internal and External Audit, and Counter Fraud services together into one easy to use framework, guaranteeing an efficient service that is value for money for the NHS and other public sector organisations. The framework offers direct award and further competition, providing more choice for buyers.

The benefits

Benefits include:

• Access to Internal Audit, External Audit and Counter Fraud within the same framework.
• Provision of specialist Information Management and Technology (IM & T) audit within Lot 2 internal audit and counter fraud.
• Standard terms and conditions for all suppliers.
• Documents to support contracting authorities during the tender process, including further competition templates, example questions, evaluation criteria and pricing schedules.
• Framework rates per skill mix have been capped for four years which can be reduced through the further competition process.
