Who is it for?

The NHS SBS framework is aimed at NHS Trusts, NHS Commissioning organisations and NHS Provider organisations, as well as general practitioners (GPs), clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) national bodies.

How does it work?

Mazars has been named on the NHS SBS framework for Audit Services, Counter Fraud and Well Led Review (lot 1, 2 and 3) which runs until 15 November 2022. This framework agreement will provide an independent, effective, professional and proactive audit opinion of the accounts and annual financial reports for external audit services. The internal audit activity will evaluate and contribute to the improvement of governance, risk management and control processes. Counter Fraud services will look to minimise the risk of corruption and fraud through the expertise of a local counter fraud specialist.

The benefits

  • Cost savings- prices are fixed on this framework for two years.
  • Agile framework- Suppliers can provide ad-hoc services for the duration of the contract if required.
  • Call off flexibility- Opportunity to run a mini-competition off the back of the competition, or direct award to some suppliers.
  • Bundled services- Suppliers can bundle services together, in order to reduce costs.
