Mazars’ Transparency Seminar Series

As organisations respond to calls for greater transparency to demonstrate their impact on wider society, boards have been presented with challenges as well as opportunities.

Through a series of focused workshops, Mazars’ Transparency Seminar Series has provided a platform for company secretaries and non-executive directors from FTSE 350 companies to examine some of the key issues related to responsible business.

The series of workshops looked at:

  • Corporate culture
  • Human rights and modern slavery
  • Anti-bribery and corruption
  • Board culture and effectiveness

“This innovative series provided an opportunity for real discussion and debate on some of the most pressing concerns for boards at the moment,” said Anthony Carey. “It also allowed peers to share practical solutions and different perspectives on some familiar issues. We had very positive feedback with attendees commenting on the usefulness of the sessions, having gained insight to take back to their boards.”

The series supports Mazars’ Business. For Good™, a global initiative that encourages business leaders to ‘think and act long-term’ in order to enhance business performance and pursue profit responsibly for the benefit of companies, their stakeholders and wider society.
