Mazars’ London office moves to Tower Bridge House

Today saw the beginning of a new era for the London office of international accountancy firm Mazars as teams from Bevis Marks – where Mazars’ UK head office has been located for nearly 12 years – and Sheldon Square in the Paddington Basin -home of the former MRI Moores Rowland prior to the merger with Mazars in April this year- moved into new premises at Tower Bridge House.

The Richard Rogers designed steel and glass building is positioned at the foot of the north side of Tower Bridge and offers excellent views over the Tower of London and St. Katharine Docks. The new space has been designed to be as  energy efficient as possible. One key decision in the design stage was to make it fully open plan, with no partner offices, in order to take advantage of the superb natural light. Other steps taken to reduce  environmental impact include providing plenty of bicycle racks and shower facilities to encourage team members to cycle or run to work. The numerous recycling initiatives in place before the move have been supplemented and enhanced.

Glyn Williams, board member and managing partner for Mazars’ London region said:

“These are very exciting times for the firm: joining forces with MRI Moores Rowland has been a significant part of our development and the move marks the final step in the integration of the two teams, bringing them physically together under one roof.”

He continued: “Mazars has experienced very encouraging profitability and organic growth over the last few years, which we continue to build on. The move is about creating a working environment that matches our standing and our aspirations as we seek to provide first class services to our clients in the UK and internationally.”
