Review of the financial position and ability to repay the pension deficit.
We were asked by the pension scheme trustees to review a group of manufacturing companies with a large pension scheme deficit and assess their ability to repay it in the required time. Our review was based upon historical and forecast financial figures, along with discussions with management. In addition we considered the option for the trustees to recover the position from the Government’s Financial Assistance Scheme.
