ICAEW investigation
A Mazars partner was appointed expert for the Accountants' Joint Disciplinary Scheme in their investigation into the audit work of TransTec plc during the years prior to its collapse. The complaints arising from this assignment were settled in 2006, resulting in a fine and costs against the auditors of £1.5m.
