Corporate Tax Semi-Senior

Role

Working as a member of the tax department you will help prepare and process corporate tax computations, dealing with various tax compliance matters and assist in the preparation of client invoices.

Responsibilities

To process corporate tax computations by inputting relevant data on to recommended departmental software

To provide a quality corporate tax compliance service to a portfolio of clients, ensuring that:

  All tax payments and corporate tax returns filings are dealt with on a timely basis

  All appropriate claims and elections are made to minimise tax liabilities.

  To prepare and control client fee invoices in accordance with the specific timetable agreed with the client or else in accordance with the firm’s standard terms of business

  To carry out general administrative duties.

Requirements

  Possess good numeracy, written and oral communication skills

•  Be computer literate (previous experience of Excel/Word and Alphatax would be advantageous)

  Be able to demonstrate initiative and to be able to find solutions to problems, which they may not have encountered before

  Have a degree,

  It is essential that the candidate has a knowledge of accounting

  3 ‘A’ Levels A-C grades or equivalent
