Katie Dawson Senior Manager - Actuarial Services

Katie is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. She has many years experience of providing actuarial advice for occupational pension schemes of all sizes, both in the private and state sector (with the Government Actuary’s Department). 

Katie has been involved in:

• Accounting for pension costs,
• TUPE transfers,
• Actuarial funding valuations,
• Mergers and Acquisitions, and
• Reviewing mis-sold pensions.

Since joining Mazars in 2013, Katie has reviewed hundreds of pension scheme accounting disclosures each year for clients of our auditors, and produced disclosures for her own clients. She has also advised clients on de-risking final salary pension schemes and provided training on pension matters for scheme trustees and sponsors.
