David advises corporates, private equity clients and other financial institutions on deals across a variety of sectors. He also has vast experience of the requirements of capital markets transactions.

Experience

Drawing on more than 25 years of corporate transaction experience, David has led teams advising in the UK and overseas clients on domestic and cross-border deals. Being based in the Midlands, most deals he has advised have had a manufacturing, aerospace and distribution focus, but David also has significant experience in the consumer, healthcare and software sectors.

David has also run many reporting accountant assignments, including Main Market and AIM IPOs, transactions requiring circulars and bond issues across a number of sectors including energy and financial services.

Work Highlights

David fondly remembers the challenges of two AIM IPOs completing on the same day and was proud to be part of the team advising on one of the largest Main Market IPOs of 2023. All were significant reporting accountant projects delivered over an extended period.

By contrast, he derives as much satisfaction advising in the sub £50m deal space where his hands-on approach provides the opportunity to react quickly to emerging issues and advise his clients accordingly.
