Some of our recent projects:

Corporate insolvency for a bottled water distributor in the UK. Mazars successfully sold this business that imports water from France, supplying a number of well-known high street stores and independents in the UK. The sale, through Administration, ensured a significant distribution to all creditors and maintained the customer base and employees.

Independent Business Reviews (IBR) for a large pan-European Receivable Financial Solutions Group. Mazars is the appointed provider of IBR services to this pan-European organisation and its 20 subsidiaries, providing local support and services from our offices throughout Europe.

Debt recovery for a major UK bank. Mazars helped a major UK bank recover debt in the region of 30m Euros from the insolvent French subsidiary of a Dutch parent company. Working closely with our colleagues in France, we were able to get results for the UK bank by tapping local expertise and in-depth understanding of French law.

Corporate insolvency for a UK pine furniture manufacturer. As appointed Administrators, Mazars worked for a positive solution, sold the business after a successful period of trading and saved local jobs.

Mazars adjudicated a dispute between Russian and American parties over the supply of oil from a Romanian oil refinery on behalf of a major law firm.

On behalf of the Crown agencies, our corporate recovery and forensic investigation teams worked together to successfully quantify and trace money and other assets that had been misappropriated for a number of years.
