An exciting new initiative was recently launched by international accountancy firm Mazars and Warwick Business School’s Enterprise Hub. “Thinking Entrepreneurship” is aimed at helping entrepreneurs and owner managers in the UK and internationally harness and develop their entrepreneurial ambitions.
Anthony Carey, a Partner at Mazars and WBS Honorary Professor, who led the launch of the event commented, “This initiative combines the skills and knowledge of accomplished academics and practical commercial business experience which offers a rare opportunity for shared learning based on real life successes.”
The launch event was attended by an assembly of business owners and established entrepreneurs who were keen to hear what the day’s considerable agenda would offer.
Speakers included leading businessman David Richards of Prodrive, Lucius Carey from Oxford Technology Management, David Chapman, Regional Managing Partner of Mazars and David Rowe of Warwick University Science Park. To view the morning’s agenda click here .
Opening the event Mark Taylor, Dean of Warwick Business School, said, “Entrepreneurship isn’t just superficially grafted onto Warwick Business School, it is in our DNA. I am delighted that the Enterprise Hub is working with Mazars to further its global engagement with business from a regional springboard.”
Expansion of the initiative into other countries is planned using Mazars international offices and Warwick Business School’s network of overseas alumni, uniquely enabling entrepreneurs around the globe to share their experiences and tap into the expertise of both organisations.
