In his Budget speech, the Chancellor proposes to publish the names and details of individuals and companies who deliberately default on their tax liabilities.

Charities – large benefactors

A number of years ago measures were introduced to restrict tax relief for substantial donors to charities if they donated more than £100,000 to the charity over a six year period and also had a significant influence over the charity with a view to possibly avoiding tax.
