One of the primary causes of the shortage in social housing is the current funding model. Given current market conditions, funding structures are uncertain, with fewer Government grants available to fund house building.
This seminar will cover the key issues facing social and affordable housing, funding and the opportunities and potential solutions offered by REITs in addressing the shortage of housing in this sector. In addition, the Mazars Real Estate and Housing team will launch the firm’s position paper on social housing, funding and other relevant issues.
Who should attend?
Housing Associations, Local Authorities, Fund Managers and Administrators, Investors and Bankers; and anyone with an interest in the social and affordable housing sector.
Phil Shanks – Founder Director of SAF Housing Limited
Juliette Tarrant - Director of SAF Housing
Leigh Wormald - Head of Real Estate UK, Mazars
