Autumn Statement: what now for tax planning and the economy?
Join us on Thursday 6 December for a breakfast briefing covering key corporate, personal and pensions-related changes from the Autumn Statement, as well as a number of tax planning ideas for businesses of all sizes.
George Osborne, Chancellor of the Exchequer, will deliver his Autumn Statement on 5 December 2012, providing an update on the state of the UK’s economy and public finances based on the latest forecasts from the Office for Budget Responsibility (which will be published alongside the Statement). It is widely expected that Mr Osborne will use the occasion to announce further measures to boost growth and accelerate the UK’s economic recovery.
This Mazars Breakfast Briefing will be rounded off by Mark Berrisford-Smith, chief economist at HSBC, who will give his perspective on the Government’s fiscal policy and its impact on the future of the economy.
