The exams
You have heard the rumours about getting through the chartered accountancy exams; grads not having a day off for two years, falling asleep at work or failing an exam five times in a row. You’ll be pleased to know, they are just stories.
Exam facts
You’re not on your own
At Mazars everyone has a mentor (a senior manager) who’ll give you guidance and the benefit of their experience. You’ll also have a buddy on the grad scheme (someone in the year above you), who can answer questions, support you through the exams and advise you on work and study balance.
The exams are hard
But so were GCSEs, A levels and your finals. If you work hard you can do it.
You do not have use all your free time
You’ll get regular time off for college.
You will have to give up some weekends for study
Recent grads estimated that, on average, they worked one Saturday in three in the run-up to their exams.
