Interviewing for some graduate schemes can be a harrowing affair, but it doesn't have to be. At Mazars we don’t see the point of putting you off before you get through the door. However, the competition is tough and our selection process is thorough.
Please note - if you have applied to join any of our Mazars graduate training schemes previously and have been successful at reaching our first interview stage then we will accept your application for the following year. Unfortunately, if you have applied previously and have been successful at reaching our 2nd interview stage then we will not be able accept your application for any future intakes.
Our five step selection procedure
Decide which training scheme you wish to apply for and complete our online application form
We’ll go through your application form in detail. At this point you’ll be asked to complete online numerical and verbal reasoning tests so we’re sure you meet the high standards we’ve set.
If your application is successful, the next stage is for you to come and meet us. You’ll have a one-hour interview with a manager or member of the graduate recruitment team. At the beginning of your first interview you will be given an analytical exercise to read and discuss. The remainder of the interview will consist of questions based around the key skills that we feel are important in the role that you have applied for. Please ask any questions that you may have at the end of the interview. Our aim is to find out more about you and see if you’re the person we’re after. We’ll endeavour to let you know how you got on within one week.
If your personal interview went well, we’ll invite you to come and meet the team at your chosen office. You’ll be interviewed by a partner and asked to do some team and written exercises.
If we decide to offer you a place at Mazars we’ll give you a call within a week to tell you the good news.
