Our mix of clients come from across the Black Country, the Midlands and the around the UK. Our portfolios and plans for future growth mean we are able to offer new graduates exciting opportunities. Our services include audit and assurance, business advisory and accounting, corporate finance, taxation and forensic and investigation services. We provide services to a varied client base in terms of size and sector: listed companies, large international groups, owner managed businesses, housing associations, not for profit, insurance companies and pension schemes. Our graduates can expect to gain experience in providing audit and assurance services, including risk management services, and take responsibility for client work early in their career. Graduates are supported with both a national and local structured training programme.
If you are interested in training in the Midlands, Mazars Nottingham office also takes on trainees who will gain experience in audit, business services, tax, corporate finance, forensic investigation and corporate recovery.
The Brighton office has a relaxed, supportive and open culture with 50 staff and three partners. It is a modern, open plan office located in the heart of Brighton’s vibrant North Laines area, we are just two minutes walk from the rail station, with convenient links to London Victoria and along the South Coast. We provide a range of services to clients in Brighton and the surrounding region, from audit and assurance to tax compliance and advisory and corporate finance. Much of our focus is on the owner managed business market and we also deal with subsidiaries of European based companies. We audit from a spectrum of sectors, including local authorities, engineering, education, technology, charities, pension schemes and health and leisure. Brighton colleagues work closely with the local community, handling the accounts of a number of local not for profit organisations. We usually recruit one or two graduates to start in the autumn. We sometimes recruit graduates at other times of the year. Trainees are given responsibility at an early stage of their careers. Our office has an active social committee, which is subsidised by Mazars, organising paint-balling, theatre trips, quiz nights, go carting and drinks nights, for example.
Our team of around 35 people work across two departments – Corporate and Business Services and Corporate Recovery and Insolvency Services. We have a diverse client base in Bristol. A large number of our Internal Audit clients are in the Education sector, for example, universities and colleges. We have around 40 clients in the not for profit sector. We also act for a number of Financial Services Authority (FSA) regulated companies and pension schemes. Most clients are owner-managed companies in a variety of sectors, from engineering to manufacturing (including a large bakery company) and retail. We also act for a number of sole traders and partnerships. Graduates will work with different clients to gain a range of experience. In Corporate and Business Services, for example, you will work on Internal and External audits, as well as accounts preparation assignments. We are a friendly office, which likes to socialise.
Located in the Haymarket area of the city, our new open plan offices at Donaldson House are minutes from the city’s rail links. Graduates will enjoy being part of a mixed team in Edinburgh - from Mazars LLP, Mazars Solutions Limited (Bank of Scotland Tax & Trustee Services) and Mazars Financial Planning. Work is hands-on as we mainly deal with smaller clients including owner-managed businesses and both public and private small to medium sized companies. Our friendly and personal approach means you will get to know everyone in the Edinburgh team (we all share the same space), so you will get the support you need throughout your training.
Mazars’ city centre office in Glasgow is set over two floors, and with much of it being an open plan layout, it’s a relaxed and friendly working environment. In Glasgow we offer corporate and personal tax, financial planning, audit and accountancy and corporate finance advice to our clients. Our departments regularly work together providing a network of these services. We recently expanded when we took on board trustee services work for the Clydesdale Bank. Graduates can expect to experience the personal touch of a small firm with the big experience of the largest, working with small charities to large corporate clients with billion pound turnovers. It’s not all work and no play! Our office regularly gets together for social nights and charity events, which have included the Mazars UK National Rowing Challenge in association with Steve Redgrave.
At our Leeds office, set over three floors, there are approximately 70 people - and room for many more! Our culture is both challenging and supportive, with an emphasis on personal development, and our environment is friendly and team- orientated. Our departments cover accounts, audit and assurance, personal and corporate tax, insolvency and corporate recovery and corporate finance. We also have many specialists in insurance, not-for-profit organisations and pension schemes. Leeds’ clients are mainly owned managed businesses – from start-ups to £80m turnover international groups. Our clients cover all disciplines (manufacturing companies to service industries) and most are within half an hour of the office. Our work with ambitious entrepreneurial clients means our teams gain a wealth of non-routine experience, which develops their commerciality. All graduate trainees are given responsibility from day one.
The London office is the largest of our offices in the UK. Over the past few years we have grown in size, stature and reputation hence the need for our recent move to Tower Bridge House, a prestigious development designed by the Richard Rogers Partnership. The building overlooks the Tower of London and St Katharine Docks, and reflects the open and transparent culture we seek to encourage.
The London office is the national hub for Mazars’ regulated and large corporate business service line. We have large and well established groups covering audit and assurance, actuarial, transaction support and financial reporting. We also have a successful and growing tax practice covering personal tax, corporate and international tax and VAT. The London office is also home to the largest team within Mazars’ Forensic and Investigations Group, a thriving Corporate Recovery and Insolvency team, as well as other niche areas such as payroll and outsourcing.
As you would expect our client base is truly diverse. Our insurance practice works with 20% of Lloyd’s syndicates and over 50 UK insurance and reinsurance companies. We work with a wide range of corporate and public interest entities, including AIM and fully listed companies. Our banking team acts for 25 banks and financial institutions across Europe. We also support the interests of a substantial number of private clients and thriving entrepreneurial businesses.

A part of our London region, our London South (Sutton) Office, consisting of 6 partners and 55 members of staff, work closely with our colleagues in The City. Our team covers audit, tax, and we have a rapidly expanding Outsourcing Department. Our clients range from small organisations and owner manager businesses, to fast growing mid-sized companies and multinational corporations, as well as private individuals. We specialise in the not for profit and pension sectors. Our partners at London South (Sutton) have developed strong relationships with our staff teams, helping them to develop and achieve their goals. The Luton office comes under our London Region and works closely with our colleagues in the City. It has six partners and sixty five staff. The office is easily accessible from junctions 10 and 11 of the M1 providing an easy commute into central London by car or train and Luton Airport is only 10 minutes away. Every year between 4 & 6 students join our graduate training scheme. The Luton office specialises in Audit, Governance, Internal Audit, IT Audit and Tax. Its client base includes businesses in the areas of insurance, retail, property, construction, education, manufacturing, technology, energy and defence. As such you will very quickly get exposure to large listed, small and medium size clients in London and around the UK, even Europe. As with all of our offices we will support you through your studies with our mentoring and buddy system so help and advice is always at hand. The office has and continues to grow significantly. It has a close-knit friendly team with an active social life. The social committee organises regular office nights out so its not all work and no play!
The fast-growing Manchester office is based in the heart of the city and is staffed by a team of 35 and five partners. Our client base ranges from not for profit entities to the subsidiaries of large international groups. We provide services in accounting, audit, advisory, due diligence, corporate tax, personal tax, tax investigations, corporate recovery and individual voluntary arrangements. Clients include Thales, the leading international electronics and systems group and the innovative owner-managed business, Brick Specialists. Our charity clients include Age Concern and the Mines AdvisoryGroup. Graduates will enjoy the social scene in Manchester. We are becoming an increasingly important part of the business community in the East Midlands serving clients in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire. Our audit, business services, tax, corporate finance, forensic investigation and corporate recovery departments serve mainly owner-managed business clients. Our client base also includes a number of large corporate entities, not for profits and public sector bodies. Mazars Nottingham’s corporate recovery and forensic departments work on all sizes of corporate administrations, including complex international fraud cases. Our graduate recruits work within all departments receiving a broad and balanced level of experience. Mentors are at hand to discuss any issues and provide feedback on a regular basis.

Our Southampton Mazars team is relatively new and we have big plans to grow significantly over the next few years. We are principally involved in the provision of audit and advisory services to the private and public sector. Public sector clients include the Audit Commission (for whom we undertake the external audit of local authorities and health bodies), the European Commission, higher education institutions, housing associations and non-governmental public bodies. We work closely with other offices in the Southern region to provide tax, corporate finance and business recovery services. Our commercial team is involved in the audit of a range of large corporate and middle market clients, including a number of charitable bodies and also provides management accounting and payroll services. The variety of clients and the different types of audit mean that a graduate trainee job role and clients vary. The office has a reputation locally as being an excellent place to work, with a strong social side.
