Mazars is committed to taking an active role in corporate responsibility issues as part of its commitment to providing fulfilling roles to members of the Mazars team and to making a contribution to the communities in which we operate. Our commitment is expressed in a number of ways:
- Volunteering initiatives are channelled through our ‘Mazars Days’, in which staff are invited to participate in community projects as a team.
- Environmental initiatives are built around a sustainability policy and encompasses initiatives spanning energy consumption, transport usage, waste, recycling and proactive procurement strategies which factor CR into third-party and client relationships.
- Charitable giving initiatives, including donating a proportion of our profits to a range of charities each year, as well as individual staff members fundraising through participation in events such as marathons, parachute jumps and swimathons.
- Diversity awareness is important to Mazars, and the firm has engaged a specialist diversity consultant called Linbert Spencer to lead our efforts in diversity and engagement within the UK.
