Our commitment to Corporate Responsibility
Mazars is committed to taking an active role in corporate responsibility issues as part of its commitment to providing fulfilling roles to members of the Mazars team and to making a contribution to the communities in which we operate. Our commitment is expressed in a number of ways:
- Volunteering initiatives are channelled through our ‘Mazars Days’, in which staff are invited to participate in community projects as a team.
- Environmental initiatives are built around a sustainability policy and encompasses initiatives spanning energy consumption, transport usage, waste, recycling and proactive procurement strategies which factor CR into third-party and client relationships.
- Charitable giving initiatives, including donating a proportion of our profits to a range of charities each year, as well as individual staff members fundraising through participation in events such as marathons, parachute jumps and swimathons.
- Diversity awareness is important to Mazars, and the firm has engaged a specialist diversity consultant called Linbert Spencer to lead our efforts in diversity and engagement within the UK.
In addition to our Mazars Community Days, individuals or teams in particular offices also undertake a number of self-organised charity initiatives such as participation in marathons or parachute jumps. These are often supported by many team members and may also be eligible for a discretionary contribution from the Mazars Charitable Trust.
Diversity awareness is important to Mazars, and the firm has engaged an external consultant called Linbert Spencer to consider our vision for diversity and inclusion and how this links with our values. Diversity and Inclusion is important for us as individuals, for our clients and for the firm.
